Sixty seconds with Leslie Ramey…

What does SEO mean to you?
SEO is building dreams. Regardless of the size of your business or the goals that you have, SEO allows you to compete in an ever expanding digital world. The small business down the block has the same opportunity to grow their customer base as the international company with 100 locations because of SEO. I want to help those business owners master their dreams.

Why does SEO appeal to you so much?
The biggest appeal that SEO holds for me is the ability to combine creativity with analytical problem solving. A great SEO plan will meet the needs of the user and the search engines, which means thinking out of the box while still holding true to the “rules”.

When you are not up to your elbows in keywords what do you do?
I’m an adventurer. I love traveling to new places, hiking new trails, driving on new roads. I take any opportunity I can to meet new people and try new things. When I can’t be off exploring I read, a lot. I also have a herd of rescued animals that keep me entertained.

Three things that make you tick?
Fresh air, especially if it includes the scent of pine needles. Constant wonder, the universe is a huge place. I’d like to learn as much about it as I can. Finally, naps, a quick recharge helps to keep me moving full speed ahead.

Favourite food?
Beef bourguignon with garlic mash potatoes.

If you could host a dinner with any three people, who would you choose and why?
I would have dinner with Jane Goodall, Pope Francis, and Jamie Oliver. I think these three people are making a huge impact on how we live and interact with the planet. I would love to hear them talk about their passions and how we each can play a role in making the world a little bit better.

If given the chance to skip work for a day, how would spend the entire day?
I’d start my day by sleeping in, then head to the beach for some brunch. After, I’d take my kayak out to the ocean for some wildlife watching followed by a reading session at home on my hammock with my dogs.
